Jazmin Cardona
Coalition of Voices
As someone whose voice once felt unrepresented, I am determined to make sure yours is heard! I want Ohlone students to feel welcomed and empowered to thrive without barriers. As a two-term Senator, R&D Deputy Director, President of Animal Advocates, and Secretary of the Politics Club, I’ve worked to create a lasting impact by curating events, guiding teams, and taking initiative for the change students want to see. As ASOC President, I will bring this dedication forward to build a campus where every student feels valued, represented, and supported.
ASOC Vice President Candidate(s)
Alya Adil
Coalition of Voices
As your Vice President, I will continue to increase student belonging on campus with events supporting future careers and personal connections. Coming up on two years in student administration and 1 year in senate, I'm well-versed in event planning and using campus resources, and also eager to eliminate the barrier of entry to ASOC. As a double-major at Ohlone and Chabot, I'm passionate about making students' experiences more than just about attending a commuter school to transfer. Support me in supporting you and your search for community!
Susanna Chen
The Curiosity Coalition
The students of Ohlone deserve a Vice President who is engaged, collaborative, and dedicated to strengthening our student government. Through my work in ASOC Senate, the Ohlone Office of Student Life, and the Student Senate for California Community Colleges, I’ve built strong connections with students and student leaders alike. I value teamwork, organization, and supporting student-led initiatives that create real impact. As Vice President, I will foster a more connected and empowered student body. Together, we can build a student government that listens, uplifts, and takes action– vote for the Curiosity Coalition!
ASOC Inter-Club Council Candidate(s)
Aleah Manibusan Bezada
Independent
As ICC Chair, my goal is to create a welcoming and positive environment, and incorporate passionate problem-solving for our council, students, and faculty. Ohlone students and faculty have the right to be heard and represented, which is driving my commitment to listening and addressing concerns. I intend to improve communication through regular surveys, and be actively involved with Ohlone officials and clubs to ensure everyone’s voice is properly heard. As a new spring senator and ICC rep, I’ve gained valuable experience and remain eager to continue. When I win as the elected ICC Chair, my passion will only grow stronger!
Emiliano Soto Torres
Coalition of Voices
Clubs are the heart of Ohlone—they turn strangers into friends and give students something to look forward to beyond classes. As a Senator and Marketing Deputy, I’ve led teams, organized events, and seen firsthand how clubs can transform the campus experience. My goal as ICC Chair is to support clubs with clear resources, better organization, and more opportunities for collaboration. I want to build a campus where every club has a purpose and every student feels like they belong. Let’s make Ohlone a place worth remembering—together!

Hey Renegades! Through my experiences managing restaurants, catering, and retail businesses, I’ve gained indispensable skills in business finances, budgeting, and event planning. As ASOC Senator at Large, and through leadership roles in Girls Who Code Club, Scientific Research Journalism Club, and as a peer tutor, I’ve also gained valuable experience with responsibility, communication, and problem-solving. If elected Treasurer, I will prioritize student-driven initiatives, advocate for inclusivity, and ensure financial accountability and transparency to support all students. I would be honored to serve as your ASOC Treasurer and make your voice heard!
Muhammad Talal Fareed

As Treasurer, I will bring strong financial management, transparency, and strategic decision-making to ASOC. My passion for numbers and budgeting aligns with my goal of becoming an NBA General Manager, where financial planning and smart resource allocation are crucial. I will ensure student funds are used efficiently to support clubs, events, and initiatives that benefit our campus. With a commitment to responsibility and innovation, I am ready to make ASOC’s finances work for you. Vote for me to keep our budget in championship form!
Alexander Torjyan

Hey Renegades! My name is Alex. I’ve served as ICC Secretary, OBS ICC Representative, Business Communications Fundraising Coordinator, and also worked at Compass - Real Estate. Being a part of these roles has given me direct exposure to how clubs interact, how ICC works, how to raise money for ASOC, and the nuances of financial transactions. Becoming Treasurer, I will emphasize transparency, responsible spending, and supporting the events and resources that matter most to our student body. My biggest priority will be to expand the ASOC budget for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
Allison Chow
Independent
As ASOC Treasurer, my primary goal is to expand our ASOC budget to support the aspirations of our students through fundraising, efficient allocation, and strategic investments. I care deeply about our campus and love leading key events contributing to our student life, including our business summit, 4+ ASOC fundraisers, the interfaith dinner, Earth Day volunteering event, de-stressing petting zoo and more! I bring direct experience with Ohlone, ASOC, and a Bay Area business's budget through my positions as an ASOC Senator of Business on Ohlone's budget committee, ASOC Business Communications fundraising coordinator, and accounting intern for a financial advisory.
Raphael Barrera
The Curiosity Coalition
I’m a pure math major with a curiosity for problem-solving. I’ve also registered my own LLC—humble plug—so I understand how to track and manage money responsibly. I want to make club funding easier to access and more transparent. I’d like to see how far my curiosity can take us toward more effective use of our resources. I hope to intrigue you with my findings.
ASOC Legislative Representative Candidate(s)
Neleah Aquino
The Curiosity Coalition
Student government should serve every student—not just those with the most influence. I'm running for Legislative Representative because I want to ensure that every student's voice is heard. Serving as an Interclub Council Representative for Sec(C) Math Club has helped me familiarize myself with ASOC's Bylaws, Brown Act, and Robert's Rules of Order. Being the Vice President for AAPI (A²π+) Engineering Club and an executive officer of Bay Area Alliance for Inclusive Education has led me to obtain leadership, accountability, and advocacy experience that reinforces my commitment to uplifting marginalized voices and ensuring equitable opportunities.
Nikil Gowda
Coalition of Voices
The Bylaws are the most important factors governing ASOC. As a Political Science major with a Pre-Law track, I’ve taken time to understand and memorize the ASOC Bylaws, Robert's rules of order, and the Brown Act. As a Senator of Arts, President of Ohlone’s Politics Club, and an A&O coordinator of Advocacy, I’ve experienced first hand how to advocate and work for Ohlone students, while coordinating with the Senate and keeping our Bylaws intact. If elected, I will use my knowledge to the best of my ability to strengthen the success and future of ASOC.

I’m running for ASOC Legislative Representative to be a strong voice for students who hustle hard and don’t always get heard. As someone balancing work, school, and real-life responsibilities, I understand the challenges we face. I’ll fight to expand resources, support student-led initiatives, and ensure our policies reflect what students actually need. My mission is simple: real representation, real action, and real results. Let’s build a campus that works for all of us.
ASOC Ohlone College Student Trustee Candidate(s)
Lexi Smith
Independent
My name is Lexi Smith, and I am so excited to announce my candidacy for Student Trustee. As a former ASOC Senator of the Arts, ASOC Vice President, and the current President of Society of Women Engineers, I have the experience and passion to be your representation and ally on campus. My experience as a leader has taught me that value of advocacy—big and small—to make space for all voices. I understand our diverse student body and will bring dedication, strength, and persistence to ensure student concerns drive decisions at the highest level. Let’s make a lasting impact together!
Krishiv Kumar

As a Mechanical Engineering major, former Vice President of the Psychology Club, and Deputy Director of Marketing for Awareness & Outreach, I thrive on working with people and solving problems through creativity, empathy, and action. From organizing Welcome Week and cultural initiatives during Club Rush to launching outreach campaigns that connect and uplift, I’ve seen how real change starts with listening. My work across student government, healthcare, and civic advocacy—like representing students at California’s Youth & Government conference—has shaped my passion for student voice. As Student Trustee, I’ll ensure that every concern is heard, elevated, and acted on. Together, we lead forward.
