ASOC brings in new students every year, and with that comes the much-needed responsibility of ASOC's advisors. Advisors mentor incoming ASOC members and recommend certain actions or the Executive Council. All advisors are voted in and may be voted out, excluding College mandated admin advisors, whom ASOC respectfully protests their forced involvement.
ASOC has 3 categories of advisors.

Inter-Club Council (ICC)
The Inter Club Council is the coordinating organization and official source of recognition for student clubs.
The ICC's goal is to spread awareness of student-run clubs and events.


Start a Club

Find a need or niche for your club to fill

Review the Club list to see if there is a club with the same goals.

Gather at least 5 members and a faculty advisor

Fill out and submit the New Club Application found above

Email the application to both studentlife@ohlone.edu and asocicc-chair@ohlone.edu before the fourth ICC meeting of the semester.

Attend the following ICC meeting to present your club proposal

Organize regular club meetings throughout the year.
